Mimeo is a 20-year-old company with a methodology, strategy, and sales process already in place. However, because they invested heavily in ZoomInfo, they had hundreds of thousands of unused credits rolling over because it just wasn't helping them get accurate information.
As a result, the Salespeople at Mimeo frequently ran into problems: they were either missing a lot of data for the people they needed to sell to, or the numbers were wrong, or the contact they were looking for didn't work there anymore. But despite all of these issues, they were still absolutely set in their ways when Dan arrived at the company.
At the time, Mimeo had a team of 5 in India who were in charge of list building, and uploading into Salesforce.
When Daniel pitched Seamless to executives and board members, he demonstrated by searching an executive's information, as he was questioning it. Seamless pulled up his direct phone line and even his personal cell phone number.
